I’ve visited this place a couple of times, and overall, it has been a mixed experience. On one occasion, we ordered a large takeaway for a group and tried several dishes from the menu. We definitely enjoyed the Ghee Kaaram Dosa, Punugulu, Chole Puri, and Cut Mirchi Bhaji—all of which were flavorful and well-prepared. However, when it came to the mains, we found something a bit off with the paneer curry, and the biryani didn’t quite meet our expectations. This was from an order a couple of months ago, so it’s possible things have improved since then. On our most recent visit, we decided to stick to the all-day breakfast menu, and that turned out to be a great choice.
It’s hardly been open for a week, and we were the first customers on a Sunday morning. Greeted by a pleasant and attentive staff member. The food was tasty, authentic and fresh. The accompanying chutneys were seriously good. We tried the Thatte Karam idli, masala dosa, cheese dosa, onion dosa, upma, dahi puri and coffee. Food was amazing. The coffee was good but would have been better if it was hot and not lukewarm. The vada pav was not available so early in the morning but all in all we had a great experience. Recommended!
The food is very yummy, reasonable prices love the crispy dosas, curries flavourful and good amount of spice, and tried the dahi puri which turned out so nice we ordered another round! Also the staff were very friendly. It’s not fancy but it gives the vibes of an affordable comforting delicious meal like an Indian mum might make. This was our second visit in a short span of time and we will continue to return to try the other dishes.

Don't be fooled by its humble appearance from the outside. This place has some incredible flavours. Definitely recommend trying the special creamy dahi puri and we all enjoyed our food, although it's a bit spicier than you'd expect but the herbs were lovely. I got the chicken masala with the bangari rice which was lovely and my partner got the special chicken haleem which was full of flavour! The service was great thanks to our friendly waiter who explained the entire menu which was helpful. Ask ahead and try different things as you might be surprised by the options.

Absolutely loved my experience at Pinaki in New Castle! I ordered Punugulu, Mirchi Bajji, Curd Rice, Dosa, and Dahi Puri — everything was delicious, but the Dahi Puri stole the show! Food was delivered super fast and tasted incredibly fresh. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming, which made the whole visit even better. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic Indian flavors and warm service!
